Common questions

How do imports work?

Open Import from the Games list and choose Kickstarter, Gamefound or BackerKit. Sign in on the platform's own page; the app then lists your pledges so you can choose what to bring in. Import again any time to pick up new pledges, delivery dates and shipping status. Imports are part of BackerVault Pro.

Kickstarter won't let me sign in with Google

Google doesn't allow its sign-in inside apps. If you normally use Google, set a Kickstarter password first (use "Forgot your password?" on Kickstarter's sign-in page), then sign in with your email and that password.

A pledge came in twice, or not at all

BackerVault matches imported pledges to ones already in your vault by campaign link and name. If something looks wrong, delete the extra pledge, or add the missing one by hand, and let us know which campaign it was.

I bought BackerVault Pro. When does iCloud sync start?

The next time you open BackerVault. Close it from the app switcher and open it again.

How do I get BackerVault Pro on another iPhone?

Open the Pro screen and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account.

How do reminders work?

Turn on Delivery-month reminders under Import. You'll get one on the 1st of each month something is due, and another if it runs late. With Pro, alerts also tell you when a delivery date moves, something ships, or a platform needs something from you.

Where does game information come from?

Game details come from BoardGameGeek, and campaign details from Kickstarter, Gamefound, BackerKit and Indiegogo. BackerVault is not affiliated with any of them.
